RESEARCH / PUBLIC PROOF OF CONCEPT
How can agricultural knowledge
learn from farmers?
FarmHive DSS explores a two-way relationship: established knowledge informs a farm plan, and documented farm experience becomes evidence researchers can study.
Where the project stands
The current output demonstrates protocol organization, source traceability and the separation of recommended plans from actual decisions. Future work includes source correction, agronomic review and farm-season pilots.
It does not demonstrate improved yields, validated recommendations or an operational AI advisory service.
Research context
This prototype presents the FarmHive DSS approach developed alongside the user’s Ministry-funded decision-support research, originally titled “Artificial Intelligence-based Decision Support System to Inform Crop Choices.”
Prepared as a public supporting output for the Israeli Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology’s “Israeli Science 2” submission. Inclusion here does not imply Ministry endorsement or agronomic approval.
